What Are Potential Buyers Looking At?
Just before The Toronto Real Estate Board puts out the monthly sold statistics for the GTA here is a look at the median and average list price of homes viewed on my listings web site.
While the sampling is small (hundreds) compared to the amount (thousands) of data that TREB analyzes it does provide an idea of what people are looking at in and around Uxbridge. This data contains all listings viewed including a few rentals and some very high end properties for the area.
| Year To Date | Oct | |
| Average List Price | $570,218.82 | $628,781.80 |
| Median List Price | $445,000.00 | $479,900.00 |
| Minimum List Price | $1,200.00 | $1,200.00 |
| Maximum List Price | $4,000,000.00 | $4,000,000.00 |

Kathy,
These are very interesting, and probably more meaningful to you than the TREB numbers.
Brian
Brian - and to potential sellers in this area. Just one of many trends to look at.
Kathy, trends are very useful in gaining knowledge before listing or buying a house.
Ty
Ty - yes they are a tool to help you gain knowledge about what the overall market is doing ..... but certainly are not indicative of the value of an individual property or values in a small local or hyper-local area.
